Molly Roškar
Molly Roškar (b. 1980, she/her) is an artist and educator based in Zurich. Her sculptural work focuses on natural and foraged materials—wood, stone, minerals, and dye plants—which she uses to create objects that reflect her engagement with landscape and craft.
Her objects have been shown in Zurich at Kabinett Visarte, Kupper Modern, and Volumes Art Publishing Days. She is a contributor to Doris Stauffer: Source Book. Ideen für eine kollektive Kunstpraxis (Simone Koller, Spector Books, spring 2026), and led a related workshop as part of a series on feminist pedagogy and collective art-making at the Musée des Beaux-Arts La Chaux-de-Fonds. She was a contributor to a collaborative installation in the exhibition "Im Haus der grossen Frau" at Kunsthaus Langenthal (Autumn 2025).
In November 2025, Roškar collaborated with alpine chef Rebecca Clopath. She handcrafted over 450 pieces of tableware from local wood and clay inviting reflection on how materials shape our experience of taste and place.
Her hand-carved vases were featured in the Museum Rietberg shop and are presently at Atelier Volvox in Zürich.
Roškar is a dozentin with the Zurich-based Verein Dranbleiben.
She sometimes still restores objects. You can always ask!
