From July through October I would like to think about vases.

We will write to one another. We might talk to one another.

I will welcome you into the space, share my work and make a thing (for you).

Naturally dyed, hand carved wood (that I forage or you find) will become a singular form for you or for your mama, or grandmama, or aunty or papa.

Maybe your papa loves fuchsia and spherical shapes.

Maybe your aunty loves indigo and oblong forms.

Maybe your person cares deeply about the shade of a ripe eggplant but is indifferent to form.

While we talk I will shape a wooden form (that can hold flowers…or sticks or long thin things) and send it via the post. Of course you could also pick it up and join me for a coffee in my atelier. All objects will be finished before Christmas.
