From July through October I am taking requests for vases.

When you commission a vase it will provide stability and support for my second half of 2026. It is a fight to create stability as a self-employed artist and educator. Class participation varies from month to month and collaborations are also sometimes irregular, demanding a lot of time before compensation. With this method I can be more sure of a stable earned income. If you commission objects now I can complete them and send them via post. (or you can pick them up personally and join me for a coffee if you are in the neighborhood). They will arrive before Christmas.

If you like my work, If you like coming to workshops and being in the atelier if the process matters to you I hope you will consider my offering

We will write to one another. We might talk to one another.

I will make you a thing or welcome you into my space and work.

Hand carved vases and naturally dyed (by me) individual forms for your mama, or grandmama, or aunty or papa or…(really the possibilities are endless)

Maybe your papa love’s fuschia and spherical shapes.

Maybe your aunty loves indigo and oblong forms.

Maybe your person really cares deeply about the shade of a ripe eggplant but is indifferent to form.
